pearly whites

This might be my most random purchase and blog post to date. I watch a lot of classy TV (as in anything reality) and I've been seeing a lot of those 2 hour whitening strips things during the commercial breaks. So, naturally, I decided to go into CVS. My teeth are white but I like to use whitening products a couple times a year to keep it up (I tried professional Zoom whitening once too....I will blog about that horror story eventually) Anyways, I stared at the 2 hour thing for quite some time when it suddenly hit me TWO freaking hours....what if I get hungry or thirsty? What if I get an important phone call? So that's when my eyes focused in on this gem on the bottom shelf that said five MINUTES....perfect.

CVS- 5 Minute Whitening Kit $5.99 I'm going to be dead honest. If it weren't for the price there's probably no way in hell I would've tried this. Also, I have the attention span of a gnat so 5 minutes is about as long as I want to spend on whitening my teeth. I am just as shocked as you are but this stuff works. Again, my teeth are white. So I'm not testing it on teeth that need to whiten six shades or anything but if you just want to get them a bit whiter quickly this stuff is great. Another great thing is you don't have to put annoying strips that never stick well on your teeth. They give you a mouth guard looking rubbery thing (definitely not sexy) where you apply the gel into (top and bottom) and put it in your mouth for 5 minutes and then rinse (the rinsing part is my least fave) Make sure you brush your teeth before you put the mouth guard in.  I brush my teeth in the morning and then put the mouth guard in while I shower or start getting ready. Super quick and easy. It doesn't have the best taste in the world but it doesn't make you gag. I actually like it (using the word like loosely here people) more than the crest white strip taste-ugh.  The fact that I've almost used the whole tube and don't mind doing it and the fact that I do see a difference in my teeth equals success in my world. I know it's shocking I'm reviewing a $6 CVS item but I'm so happy I came across this stuff! Fully aware that the mouth guard thing can be a bit gross but just freaking wash it after you use it with anti bacterial soap- it takes two seconds.

It's FRIDAY- WooHoo!!!! Have a fabulous weekend!!!!!

xx
