just say no to DiorShow

Happy Monday. So this blog isn't because I hate DiorShow, it's actually quite the opposite. It is a cult beauty product and I have been a proud follower for years. So why say just say no? Well, a few months ago I went to SoBe and was getting ready to go to dinner with one of my friends when she asked me if I had Dior's DiorShow mascara. Obviously I did, common now. She was super excited and asked me to take it out so I did and that's when my blood began to boil. She had recently purchased a mascara that looked EXACTLY the same as my expensive Dior stuff.  As in the tube's were the same size and the wands were pretty much identical. I refused to believe that anything could compare to my beloved Dior at that time. It wasn't until I ran out of mascara and was at the grocery store when I thought what the hell let me try it. Well, Dior you've been playing me hard because this stuff is seriously pretty much just as good.

Revlon- Grow Luscious Mascara  $7.99  This hidden gem has the identical brush that is in Dior's DiorShow $24.50 cult followed mascara. No joke. Honestly. this is like a Coke vs Coke Zero scenario. Obviously they're not exactly the same but you can't really tell and you're saving a ton of money. Seriously, you can buy 3 damn Revlon mascara's for the price of the Dior one. See why my blood was starting to boil?! I don't know if my lashes have grown- I'm a skeptic, so probably not. Still, it's amazing mascara it lengthens and gives you volume and you won't get those horrendous spider lashes. Seriously, if you loved DiorShow or have wanted to purchase it save your money and give this mascara a try! (fyi-I do think this mascara smudges a bit more than the Dior one but I put a coat of waterproof mascara on top of it and it seems to help)



Hope you chicas enjoy saving some money! Pretty sure you will love this stuff. Yes, the tube isn't as fancy but when it comes to spending your money on DiorShow- just say no!
