Every child has that haunting image of their crazy aunt coming to hug them with so much blush plastered on that she resembles a clown just scaring the crap out of them. Maybe that's just anyone who was lucky enough to be a child during (my favorite decade) the 80's or then again maybe that's just me. Anyways, so as much as I do love the 80's I don't want to be
that aunt scaring off any kids. So when it comes to blush I believe in enhancing your natural features not literally drawing them on a la Cyndi Lauper. Here is my review on the best natural pink blushes.
Nars- Orgasm $27.00 Get your mind out of the gutter shockingly the name, this time, is not what actually caught my attention. J.Lo is single handily the reason why I booked it to Sephora to get my hands on this product. Honestly have you seen her face?! She is flawless. I read in an interview eons ago that she used this stuff (along with LaMer) so I obviously I had to buy it. It was true love at first sight and totally deserves it's name. This blush is subtle and adds a perfect glow and it's great for
all skin tones If you're a blush virgin invest in this one, you won't regret it.

This color is so universally flattering and popular that Nars has also made a Multiple Stick and a luminizer in Orgasm but I've tried those and still stick to the OG powder blush (they also have lip gloss and nail polish in this color!!!) FYI, although I am Orgasm's super fan stay away from their Super Orgasm (imagine my initial excitement when I learned of that- but like the name it's too good to be true) it's got waaaaay too much glitter in it. Bottom line, though, Nars has an amazing collection of blushes to choose from go try them out!
Maybelline- Dream Mousse Blush Peach Satin $4.99 I was skeptical of mousses. Hell, the texture of the edible mousse creeps me so why would I want something like that on my face. Not exactly sure how I ended up purchasing this but one way or another it (thankfully) ended up in my beauty bag. This stuff is silky smooth

and leaves a nice natural sheer color on your cheek. If you want a deeper color just add an extra layer- no matter how much you put on you wont look like the scary aunt. This stuff is super affordable and will give you that natural pretty glow you've been seeking. Love this stuff- get it at Target, Ulta or your local drug store!
Benefit- Coralista $28.00 Benefit is just such an amazing brand. I feel like every time I review a favorite product this brand comes up, I can't help it! Not to mention they have the most adorable packaging. Coralista reminds me of Orgasm quite a bit. This adds an amazing healthy glow to your face and it's hard not to become obsessed with it especially since it smells ah-mazing too! If you go to Sephora try Orgasm and Coralista out and see which is better for your skin tone. They are both universally flattering colors but you might prefer the slight shimmer of one over the other. Get it at Sephora or Ulta! Also, if you just want a bit of highlighter with barely any color check out the color Dandelion (it comes in a similar square box) it's lovely.
These are
all perfect for your every day use- at night time I will add some of the luminizer/highlighter that I reviewed in a previous post on top of the blush which adds a beautiful glow.
Halfway through the week WOO-HOO!!!!
xx
