brushed beauty

It doesn't matter how amazing of a powder bronzer (as in Guerlain amazing) you own if your application brush isn't good...you're simply just going to look like crap. Sorry, it's a fact. Always remember the point of putting any makeup on your face is to enhance it not to make it look like you have a bunch of stuff plastered on it. Clearly, I can't stress that point enough. So I've tried out a ton of makeup brushes in the past (from cheap to ridiculously expensive) and I am absolutely dumbfounded at how hard it is to find a good one. I don't care what damn hair is on the brush I just want it to stay on the brush. Seriously brush manufacturers why is that concept so difficult to understand?! I can't tell you how many times I used to find embarrassing black brush hairs on my face (yes, MAC I'm talking to you) Also, most makeup  brushes would never apply my bronzer evenly and I would have blend it in with my fingers....just plain annoying. So on my deep quest to find the perfect non-shedding and evenly applying brush I came across this random but unbelievable find!

Too Faced Cosmetics Kabuki Brush, 2.2 OunceToo Faced- Retractable Kabuki Brush $32 First of all it's pink and adorable. Secondly, it DOESN'T SHED. I've had it about a year now and it still hasn't shed- I'm beyond shocked. I don't know what the brush hairs are made of and I don't give a crap, I am staying faithful to this masterpiece. Also, it applies my bronzer evenly and perfectly. I honestly thought that a perfect little brush like this was starting to become too much to ask for. Fortunately my prayers (yes, this was prayer worthy) were answered! It's small and it's retractable (hence the name) so it's great for traveling. This is the only makeup brush I currently own. Sad, but true. Too Faced made a similar brush called a Flatbuki for only $13 which will probably be my next purchase. Don't question this purchase seriously head to Sephora or Ulta now!

If you had any similar sentiments towards makeup brushes like I did in the past you will love me forever after trying this brush. Again, tulips are my favorite flowers and feel free to send them my way.

Cheers to tomorrow being FRIDAY!!!!!!!!

xx
