My eyesight is a bit blurry right now, thanks to pretending to be Irish last night.  Staring in my mirror I was trying to focus in on my face and thought about what I could possibly to do with my eyes so I look semi-presentable today.  What mascara will perk up my peepers so I don't get asked if I'm OK or if I'm tired a million times today- so annoying, I get it I look like hell people. The problem with mascara is that there are a million damn mascaras on the market and I can't commit to just one. This is the only time in life that I believe in the Sister Wives philosophy of life...I never just use one mascara. My number one rule with mascara is buy a cheap (as in grocery store) mascara that is waterproof and this is what you will always use on your bottom lashes.  This is a must. Even if you don't buy any of the mascara's that I recommend please start using more than one mascara...you will see a huge difference!
A good waterproof one to try is Maybelline's Great Last Mascara It's been one of the #1 sellers forever and it's perfect for bottom lashes. I honestly don't care which one you choose for this, though. Another trick is once you've used your other mascara on the top lashes take your waterproof one and go over your top lashes- this will separate them a bit more, so you don't get the horrendous spider eyes effect, and they'll be waterproof!
Alright, but try to trust me regarding mascara. I have seriously tried EVERY damn mascara out there.

Lancome- Virtuose Divine Lasting Curves Mascara $25  Lancome was the first mascara I ever fell in love with. I believe I got my makeup done for homecoming, unlike my date at homecoming this wasn't puppy love. I'm still in love with Lancome mascaras.  You honestly cannot go wrong with any Lancome mascara- don't know how they do it but they've figured out what my lashes want and need. This mascara I stumbled across and for some reason didn't think it could possibly be better than Lancome's Definicils mascara but damnit it's way better. I don't curl my eyelashes, it scares the hell out of me. Seriously, what if one day I go to curl them and they snap off! So I like finding mascaras that curl a bit and lengthen at the same time....this stuff does both and perfectly! You can obviously purchase it at the amazing Sephora or save some cash since it''s $19.00 on Amazon...

Benefit- BADgal Lash $19  So take one guess on why I even purchased this mascara. Yup, how could you not with that name! Ah-mazing! So this mascara truly is great if you're looking for volume! I am blessed to have pretty long and voluminous eyelashes (don't hate me please....and thank you mom and dad for passing those genetics down to me) but there are still days when I want my eyes to pop a bit more (today is a perfect example of one of those days) This mascara is perfect for volume without giving you cakey looking eyelashes. You will love love love it! Give it a try, it seriously makes your eyes look amazing! Get it at Sephora or Ulta and I found it for $9 at Amazon...

Maybelline- The Falsies Volum'Express $5 This is great mascara for a great price. I was grocery shopping and the name caught my eye and I thought what the hell I'll try it (that seems to be my thought process with all beauty products) I was pleasantly shocked that this mascara really does lengthen and give your lashes volume without clumping. The reason I tend to buy more expensive mascaras is only because their brushes tend to be better and not clump my eyelashes up together. This mascara, though, does a great job. Good job Maybelline you've sold me and I'm currently using this one as my waterproof bottom lash mascara!

Trust me on these three though. They are in my makeup bag right now and swear by them. Especially Lancome, you will always have my heart.
