faux wash and go

OK. So I am obsessed with dry shampoo. Seriously, a few years ago a bad hair day could constitute as a sick day from work. You know you've at least thought about taking the day off...
Now, with dry shampoo those days are far (ok farther) and few (alright fewer) in between.
A PSA for everyone reading this blog. I shower, daily. Sometimes twice a day. Just because I use dry shampoo doesn't mean I don't shower. Ok...glad that's been made crystal clear.
However, although I have a lot of hair it's fine and we all know how hair can get oily. I used to wear my hair down all day and then wash it again if I was going out to dinner (yes, that probably means out to get my kettle one and soda's) Now that I discovered this miracle product I spray this in my hair and it honestly looks better than it did in the morning. Serious.

Victoria's Secret- So Sexy Style- Clean and Go $14 or 3/$24 I am just as shocked as you are that Vicky's actually could have a good hair product. Trust me, I have tried everything from Oscar Blandi to Rene Furterer and well this is hands down my favorite dry shampoo ever. You see the 3/$24 offer well that's how I buy this stuff- in bulk.  It will leave your hair feeling clean (sucks up that gnarly oil) and gives you perfect body. Just go buy it or at least try it out at the store (not that you probably need an excuse to go to Victoria's Secret) Also, their hairspray is heavenly (crazy I know)....I will blog about that eventually.

Batiste- Dry Shampoo $7.99 Alright, this stuff works. It's cheap and it's a good alternative if I'm out of my Vicky's stash and CVS is the only store in sight. Do me a favor though and only buy the original. The blush and tropical scents are nauseating. Just being brutally honest. If I'm going to faux wash my hair the scent better be way better than before, if not what's the damn point. If you're at CVS and you're staring at the Tresemme (heavily advertised) dry shampoo or the Batiste do yourself a favor and reach for this one.
Alright...Amazon is selling it for $2.74 right now, buy it. Seriously,  a measly $3.00 investment can save you from a horrendous hair day.
Batiste Dry Shampoo, Original 5.05 fl oz (90 g)

If you've never used dry shampoo before get ready because your world is seriously about to change.

  2. Britt,

I fell into the same trap! It smells decent (the price is good) but unfortunately it just doesn't work! Buy the Vicky's one for sure I think you will love it...and try the hairspray at the store while you're at it.
