conceal-her

Dark circles anyone? Yeah, unless you're magically getting a perfect 8 hours of sleep and enough water you probably have dark circles. Even if you don't have dark circles (miss perfect) a under eye brightner will always make your eyes look better.

Benefit- Erase Paste $26 How adorable is the name? (yup, marketing once again...) It comes in three different shades, I personally use the #2 medium shade. It has a creamy texture and it's recommended to apply with your finger tips. Heating the paste up makes it blend better into your skin. It covers the dark circles up and at the same time is brightening. You can also blend it underneath the eyebrows to brighten up the eye area! I am obsessed. The pot is tiny but honestly it lasts you forever. I bought mine about a year ago and I still have it (no, I'm not miss perfect....I do use it everyday) You can buy it at Sephora or Ulta for $26 but if you want to spend $10 more you can get the gift set Finding Mr. Bright (amazing) which has 4 beyond words products you can tryout. If you're not familiar with this brand please invest in this. You will realize you can't live without it...

Yves Saint Laurent- Touche Eclat Radiant Touch $40 OK. I have TRIED to love this stuff (especially at that price) I do love it...but you know that relationship where the guy is perfect and everyone loves him but for some reason you're forcing yourself to like him even though you know he's not the right one? Well that's this stuff for me. Everyone I have talked to that has purchased this loves it, even makeup artists obsess about it. I just don't get it....I think they still have their blinders up and are in the pretending stage. It's good, but not that good. It's almost watery to me. It does highlight and cover up your dark circles but nothing to get excited about. I put it up here because it's probably crossed your mind to purchase it. I recommend going to Sephora (I just recommend that in general seriously) and trying this stuff before you purchase it. I know people are sensitive about this bad boy...I get that it has a cult following, but you're not brainwashing me into it.

I hate you daylight savings time. You're the reason I got out of bed late and have these dark circles under my eyes...but you're also the inspiration for today's blog.

Have a wonderful Monday....

xx

Liz
