soap box

As all of you know I love feeling clean and since skin is our bodies largest organ I want to nourish it not strip it away from all its essential oils. That is exactly what this heaven sent soap does . Once again, I am obsessed. If you're a hipster you may be rolling your eyes- i know i know,  you've owned this stuff forever since American Apparel currently has it in their window displays. For or the rest of us, you might need my blog to learn about this ah-mazing product, even though it's been around for sixty years. We all loved the movie my Big Fat Greek Wedding in which everything is somehow related to Greece...well, my family can get like that about Spain. So, for them, another reason to love this soap is because it's pure "Castille" soap which (for you greenies) means it's a vegetable-oil based soap that back in the day was made from the Castille region in, yup you guessed it, beautiful Spain.

Dr. Bronner's 18-in-1 Hemp Pure-Castile Soap, Peppermint 16 fl oz (472 ml)Dr. Bronner's- Pure Castille Peppermint Liquid Soap $7.00 So these soaps come in bar or liquid form (both still Pure Castille) and in tons of different scents. I prefer the Peppermint and Almond soap (if you've never tried this soap before buy the Peppermint it's Doc's most popular and refreshing one) I use this soap in the shower but it has soooooo many different uses. You can use it as a shampoo, laundry, and even to brush your teeth with. I so wish I could be that eco-friendly but I would have a really boring blog if I used one product for all my beauty needs. That being said, if you're into that kinda thing go to www.drbronner.com website and it will tell you how to dilute the soap to use it for everything besides the body wash. Another fun fact about this soap is the label that's covered with quotes and little bits of information. Dr. Bronner was a philosopher that escaped a mental institution- love the crazies. He was extremely charitable (which the product continues to be) and cared deeply about humanity making his soaps literally his own soap box. So go buy this soap it's crazy good!

Today is my Friday- WoooHooo!!!

  2. Hello I have a question about the self tanners you posted some time ago. Is VS tanner really sparkly? If you put it on and go shower do the sparkles wash off? Also if it's sparkly you can't put it on your face so should I just put another one on my face but the color won't match??

  3. Hi!

The VS tanner does have shimmer in it. I have always put it on at night so haven't been too concerned about it. I wouldn't put it on your face if you were going in public! Also, I probably wouldn't put it on my face just in case it were to clog my pores! Hope this helps! The Bath and Body Works self tanner has no shimmer in it and I believe they have a lotion version of it if you don't like sprays...
