I blame my nails looking like hell for a million different reasons. Number one being that I'm beyond addicted to hand sanitizer and it dries the crap out of my cuticles. My theory used to be that I would rather have dry cuticles then catch a damn cold.  Manicurists made me very aware that they strongly disagree with this idea. I hate seeing the disappointment (or disgust lets be honest here) in their eyes when I return two weeks after my last manicure and my cuticles, once again, look terrible. A couple of weeks ago, though, I was suggested something for my poor hands that was super easy to apply and was promised my nails would stay looking perfect. Skeptical, but embarrassed that they always look like crap, I obviously purchased the recommended product.


CND- Solar Oil (by Creative) $14 So the smell alone would've originally sold me but I am really sold on the fact that my cuticles still look unreal. I am shocked. I have continued to go through an unheard of amount of hand sanitzer and my cuticles look impeccable. Back to the smell....it's a mix of sweet almonds and marzipan- honestly heavenly. I have been applying it on fingers and toes morning and night and a couple of weeks have gone by and my cuticles look ah-mazing. I know twice daily sounds like a lot but I honestly don't mind doing it. It has this super easy application brush and you quickly swipe it over everything and done. I let it air dry or massage it in-either way works. If your hands sound like they looked half as bad as mine invest in this stuff- your manicures will last longer and you actually for once will be proud of how your hands look! I love that now I can still abuse my hand sanitizer yet have healthy looking cuticles!
Purchase this stuff at Ulta, CVS and sometimes find it cheaper on Amazon!
